Whey-Pro 5: Advanced Whey Protein And Bovine Colostrum Blend Designed To Support Protein Synthesis, Immune System Health, Digestion And An Active Lifestyle…
When we sat down to formulate Whey-Pro 5, the goal was to formulate a fast digesting protein supplement that delivers the high amino acid yield athletes need to maximize protein synthesis. We wanted a protein supplement that promotes natural and healthy hormone production while supporting intestinal health and a strong immune system. Ultimately, we wanted an advanced protein supplement that delivers more of what athletes need to support muscle development, health and optimize athletic performance.
To do this, we created the world’s first all-in-one blend of bovine colostrum, whey protein and digestive enzymes. Whey-Pro 5’s unique blend gives athletes the advantage they need while relying on minimal ingredients that are powerful, clean and effective.

Whey-Pro 5 keeps your muscles strong by supporting healthy hormone production and superior protein synthesis. Additionally, Whey-Pro 5 provides immune factors, digestive enzymes and combats leakiness of the gut to keep your immune system strong, your gut healthy and improve nutrient utilization, so your body gets more of what it needs to stay strong, stay healthy and perform at its peak.
Bovine Colostrum: From ancient Chinese medicine to the people of Kenya and Tanzania to Britain, bovine colostrum has been highly valued for centuries across several cultures for its powerful health benefits. In modern times, bovine colostrum has gained popularity for its athletic benefits and has been used by top-level athletes to improve recovery after strenuous workouts and competitive events, including Britain’s Olympic team. Bovine colostrum is the early milk produced by cows during the first days after giving birth. This early milk has a nutrient profile and immunological composition substantially different from mature milk that is sold in stores and is used for whey protein. Bovine colostrum is rich in anti-oxidants, IGF-1 and proteins. Colostrum has been studied for its ability to improve athletic performance; its effects on body composition and its ability to supply body building nutrients are widely acknowledged.
Whey Protein: Like many great things, whey protein was discovered by accident around 6,000 B.C. and later recognized for its immune system-boosting value by Greek physician and “Founder of Medicine”, Hippocrates. Today, whey protein has become a staple in sports nutrition and for good reason. There are three main reasons why we selected whey protein over other forms of protein for Whey-Pro 5. First whey protein is a higher quality complete protein that delivers a higher yield of amino acids than regular whey, milk, egg, soy, hemp or other plant based proteins. By delivering a higher yield of protein gram for gram, whey protein helps to preserve, repair and build lean muscle tissue more effectively than other protein sources can. Second, whey protein is low in carbohydrates, fat and calories, which make it perfect for athletes who are watching their weight or cutting weight for competition. Third, whey protein digests easier and faster than other protein sources. Whey-Pro 5 contains whey protein hydrolysate, whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate. All three forms of protein digest at different rates from each other, but all digest quickly.
Digestive Enzymes: Digestive enzymes are a critical part of the absorption process for any food, including protein. Without the correct enzymes, the digestive tract wouldn’t be able to convert protein into amino acids, which is the body’s only usable form of protein. The pancreas releases digestive enzymes into the small intestine, which convert protein into peptides and then into amino acids to be used by the body. Naturally, the body has the ability to absorb 8g to 10g of whey protein per hour, which allows the body to absorb roughly 15g or whey protein before it exits the digestive tract. However, the amount of protein the body can utilize within the hour and a half time frame can be influenced by the level of digestive enzymes in the digestive tract. Consuming digestive enzymes like protease and lactase with whey protein has been showed to provide a higher absorption rate of whey protein compared to consuming whey protein without digestive enzymes. This is why Whey-Pro 5 is formulated with both protease and lactase to help the body utilize more protein per serving.
Whey Protein Hydrolysate: Protein that is broken down into peptides and is readily absorbed by the digestive system too quickly provide amino acids to muscles. Of all the whey protein sources, this is the quickest digesting protein and reaches the muscles within minutes of consuming it.
Whey Protein Isolate: The purest source of protein at around 90 percent pure with an excellent amino acid profile. It absorbs quickly and provides gram for gram the highest yield of protein.
Whey Protein Concentrate: The least refined of the three whey proteins, at around 80 percent pure, and provides whole food substance. Although it is a fast digesting protein, concentrate is the slowest digesting of the three whey proteins to complement the faster-digesting whey proteins.
"In addition to the macronutrients found in milk such as protein, carbohydrates, fat, as well as micronutrients including vitamins and minerals, bovine colostrum contains oligosaccharides, growth factors, antimicrobial compounds, and immune-regulating constituents either not present in milk or present in substantially lower concentrations."
Properly Feed Your Muscles with Whey-Pro 5…
Serious athletes know the difference a high-quality protein supplement can make in their training and overall athletic progress. A protein supplement formulated with high-quality protein sources supports muscle repair, maintenance and growth. However, at PNP Supplements, we didn’t stop there. We took Whey-Pro 5 further by adding a distinct ingredient in bovine colostrum as well as digestive enzymes, while keeping Whey-Pro 5’s formula powerful, clean and effective. An Advanced Protein Formula for Advanced Results …
Lean Protein Sources for Lean Muscle Development: Whey-Pro 5 is gluten free, low in carbohydrates, low in sugar and low in cholesterol, while providing a high amino acid yield to keep the body lean, healthy and strong. For lean muscle development, the body needs protein from healthy and lean protein sources without fillers or additives, which is why Whey-Pro 5 is formulated with only 5 ingredients. Additionally, researchers in Minnesota conducted a 12-week study where subjects were given either an isocaloric mix beverage or whey protein. Those consuming whey lost a significantly greater amount of body fat (6.1% total) and better preserved their muscles during the study.
Supports a Strong Immune System & Gut: Athletes workout to be healthy, yet the body’s immune system can be weakened through rigorous training, making the body more susceptible to infections and falling ill. Anytime the body battles infections or illness, it doesn’t run at its peak and loses time and energy that could be spent training and developing athletically. This is one area Whey-Pro 5 has an advantage over other protein supplements. The colostrum in Whey-Pro 5 contains 37 immune factors, promotes healthy intestinal flora and combats leakiness of the gut, which leads to a stronger immune system and a healthy gut to fight off sickness and infections more effectively.
Advanced Ingredients in Bovine Colostrum: Often referred to as fertilizer for muscles, bovine colostrum has been shown to provide many benefits to athletes.

Enhanced Nutrient Utilization: It isn’t the amount of nutrients that’s consumed that counts. What counts is the amount of nutrients the body can digest and utilize. Whey-Pro 5’s all natural digestive enzyme blend helps the body maximize digestion and absorption along the digestive tract to ensure more protein and key nutrients from each serving of Whey-Pro 5 are digested and utilized to support the body. Additionally, Whey-Pro 5 helps to prevent leakiness of the gut, so fewer nutrients escape the digestive tract and are absorbed into the blood stream.
Delivers fast absorbing whey proteins: Whey-Pro 5 is formulated with fast absorbing whey protein that digests quickly and delivers high-quality complete amino acids to muscles within minutes of consumption. Whether Whey-Pro 5 is consumed post training to kickoff protein syntheses and the recovery process or as a between meals shake to keep muscle properly fed, Whey-Pro 5 delivers the high-quality protein athletes expect when they need it most.
