Pumpkin Spice & Whey-Pro 5 Throwdown

Pumpkin Spice is the quintessential flavor of fall but it’s usually associated with sugary concoctions that will derail your diet and training goals one delicious taste at a time, but there’s good news. We’ve teamed pumpkin spice up with Whey-Pro 5 and now you can enjoy pumpkin spice all fall, without any guilt.

 

Pumpkin Spice

Before we begin making anything pumpkin spice, we’ve got to make the spice…it’s easy to make and you can make as much as you want. You’ll need:

3 tablespoons cinnamon

2 teaspoons ground ginger

2 teaspoons ground nutmeg

1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice

1 ½ teaspoons ground cloves

¼ teaspoon finely ground pepper (optional if you like spice)

Just measure each spice into a jar, shake and store.

 

Pumpkin Spice Frappe

1 ½ cups milk (dairy, nut, coconut or soy)

¾ teaspoon pumpkin spice

2 tablespoons pumpkin puree

1 scoop Whey-Pro 5

3-4 ice cubes

Place everything in the blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.

 

Pumpkin Spice Latte Hot or Iced

2 shots of espresso or ½ cup double brewed coffee

1 cup milk (dairy, nut, coconut or soy)

2 tablespoons pumpkin puree

½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 scoop Whey-Pro 5

To serve Hot: Whisk milk, pumpkin, spice and Whey-Pro 5 together in a small a sauce pot over medium heat until it reaches simmer. Add coffee, whisk well to combine, serve immediately.

To serve Iced, just whisk all ingredients together or shake in a cocktail mixer and serve over ice.


 

Pumpkin Spice Torpedo Proof Coffee 

1 cup strong hot coffee

1 tablespoon grass fed butter

1 tablespoon mct oil or coconut oil

2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, heated

½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 scoop Whey-Pro 5

Place everything in the blender and blend until smooth, make sure to vent the lender so steam doesn’t build up. Serve immediately.

 

 

Pumpkin Spice Torpedo Proof Chai

1 cup strong hot black tea

1 tablespoon grass fed butter

1 tablespoon mct oil or coconut oil

2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, heated

½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 scoop Whey-Pro 5

Place everything in the blender and blend until smooth, make sure to vent the blender so steam doesn’t build up. Serve immediately.
