I don’t know about you, but for me, nothing beats starting the day with a freshly made cup of coffee.
That morning cup of hot coffee just seems to get the day started off on the right foot.
The problem with most cups of coffee is all the additional calories, simple carbs, and sugar that comes along with them….I can hear it now.
“Grande, double-shot, white chocolate mocha with extra whip, and chocolate drizzle.”
“Venti, triple shot, caramel macchiato, with extra caramel and extra whip.”
Making your coffee at home? Be careful of what you add to your coffee.
Those creamers you see at the grocery store are often loaded with sugar too!
However, that doesn’t mean you can’t have a great-tasting cup of coffee that's good for you too. That’s why we’ve created five delicious, good for you, and easy-to-make protein coffee recipes
Some people might ask, “why protein in your coffee?”
Besides the obvious answers like:
1. Protein is a major macronutrient
2. Protein is the building block for muscle repair and growth
3. Protein assists with nutrient transport, enzymes, cellular and tissue repair and so much more.
For more on the benefits of protein, read our complete guide to whey protein.
